Noticing resistance is an invitation for you to go deeper into it. Without judgment, observe the sensations and thoughts to gain valuable insights.
You may perhaps notice that behind the resistance lie layers and layers of old, conditioned meaning: “I don’t want to and you can’t make me,” “I’m scared I’ll fail,” “I have to do it perfectly.”
When this energy is more lined up with awareness, it can be dissolved and you may discover sensations of liberation.

Although short, this small section on resistance is sweet. I’ve been experiencing alot of it lately–and really asking myself why. Once I realized the answer….” I don’t want to and you can’t make me!” I realized how childish and futile it is. I felt something shift in this sudden realization….. and the resistance has more or less melted away…..
(ps. The resistance I’m talking about is learning German. I’m in Germany, so that’s really what I ought to be doing……..but I’ve had such a bad attitude against it because this is what everyone tells me I ’should’ do.
Once I got over that, language studies have come along nicely.
