Since I own a small business, I need to look at it as a business. I don’t want to because it is a very deep healing service. But I realize that if I don’t look at it as a business, it won’t be a business for long.
With all the self business education, I have come across the term “Value” very often. I’ll spare you all my thoughts about value in regards to business, but I am going to share my ideas about value in regards to meditation, spiritual, and personal growth.
Many people I talk to are pretty educated about meditation. They understand the benefits, but they just do not do it. It’s too bad because they are able to preach the value of it- increased focus, mental clarity, sense of inner peace, etc.
What people are not getting the value of meditation is the FEELING of it.
Businesses are built to essentially trigger emotions in people. This gets them to feel something. Why shouldn’t meditation do something similar?
Do you want to FEEL the sense of inner peace? Are you convinced that meditation will get you there? Quickly?
The evolution of American culture (as well as many others) has bypassed the efforts of many styles of meditation because it isn’t instantly gratifying. People are wanting to feel the peace within right away, without having to embrace a disciplined meditation practice.
That’s why some people have developed “Instant Meditation” products. They do help, I’ve tried nearly all of them. But they still are lacking what people really want…
Embodied feelings!
Embodied feelings are a Holistic experience of feeling pleasure, light, inner freedom, and liberation. Stuff (energy) gets built up and stuck within your body when you’re stressed, anxious, scared, sad, and worried. You need to do something that gets that stuck energy to move.
I asked my Facebook friends what one thing would make them happy. Guess what they answered? Laughing or dancing. Everyone wrote either laughing or dancing!
Where does laughing and dancing happen? In the body! The movement of the energies in the body create these wonderful feelings when we laugh and dance.
Do you now realize why you don’t FEEL the benefits when you try meditation. You’re stuck in your mind while the energy in your body is pent up, ready to be realeased. Calming the mind down won’t release that energy.
Embodied meditation and Breath work will release the pent up energy. Embodied meditation and breathwork are experiences in the body and the energy shifts, frees up, and releases!
Our world can learn alot from being more embodied. There will be a lot less medical issues. It’s my mission to teach embodied meditation. Is that something you want?
Gratefully,

Well written article!
